Sport and Exercise is one of five schools and ten research centres within
Massey University’s new College of Health. With campuses in Wellington,
Palmerston North and Albany the School has a true nationwide reach and
international influence that underpin its strategic growth.
We are currently seeking a quality academic at Lecturer, Senior Lecturer,
Associate Professor or Professor level who enjoys a vibrant and energetic team,
shares our passion for innovative and effective research and teaching,
particularly in the area of Strength and Conditioning, to be based on our
Wellington Campus.
To be successful in this role you will have the expertise and desire to help
our team to design, prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses,
which will be offered to both internal and distance students. You hold a PhD or
similar qualification, have a demonstrated record of outstanding achievement or
show exceptional promise as a 21st Century academic in teaching and research in
sports and exercise with an emphasis in the area of strength and
conditioning.
Experience in University-level teaching and a strong research record are key
requirements for this position. Appointment will be made at a level commensurate
with your experience and record of achievement.
