    Investigators from the Sports Injuries Rehabilitation and Prevention for Health research unit at the University of Queensland and the Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine at The University of Melbourne are actively seeking a MSc/MPhil student with a background in exercise science/kinesiology or related field with an interest in clinical biomechanics. The research project will involve assessing and potentially acquiring 3D motion data in patients with lateral hip pain who are volunteering for a clinical trial. The broad aim of the MSc/MPhil project is to determine the effect of treatments on the biomechanics in patients with lateral hip pain. The candidate can be located either at The University of Queensland or the University of Melbourne, according to their preference.

    Both the Sports Injuries Rehabilitation and Prevention for Health research unit and the Centre of Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine boast strong multi-disciplinary teams including academics, clinicians and students with expertise in biomechanics, physiotherapy, medicine, engineering, podiatry and statistics. Our personnel, combined with world-class facilities will ensure you have the opportunity for an unparalleled research experience.

    We are looking for an individual with:
    - Excellent undergraduate/honours grades
    - An ability to work co-operatively within in an interdisciplinary group
    - An ability to work independently
    - Proficiency in English
