If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, this is a great opportunity to join the team in the Animal Postcranial Evolution (APE) Lab within the School of Anthropology and Conservation. School of Anthropology and Conservation The School of Anthropology and Conservation is a multidisciplinary school including Biological Anthropology, Social Anthropology and the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE). The School was ranked first in the 2012 National Student Survey for ‘Overall Student Satisfaction’ and ‘Teaching’, as well as being judged ‘Excellent’ in the most recent Teaching Quality Assessment. In the 2008 RAE, 55% of DICE’s and 50% of Anthropology’s outputs were assessed to be world-leading or internationally excellent, attracting a 47% increase in the School’s QR research income. Other funding sources include UK Research Councils (ESRC and NERC), European Research Council, Darwin Initiative, conservation NGOs and Leverhulme.
