MSc and PhD positions are available (Fall 2015) to study occupational biomechanics and ergonomics of the upper extremity in the Occupational Biomechanics Laboratory at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Areas of research include empirical and modelling studies examining occupational injury mechanisms of the wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome), forearm and shoulder. Collaborative opportunities are available between disciplines at the university and automotive industry.
Applicants should have a background in biomechanics with an interest in ergonomics and injury prevention.
