The Physical Therapy Department at the University of North Georgia, in beautiful Dahlonega, GA, seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor who will provide instruction in biomechanics, human performance and/or kinesiology and direct the department’s motion analysis research agenda.
Doctoral degree in biomechanics, human movement or kinesiology is required. Hands on experience in a research laboratory; collecting and processing 3D motion analysis and neuromuscular data; experience with seeking external funding; demonstrated ability to publish in high quality peer reviewed journals. Physical Therapy Degree not required.
The department recently purchased a state of the art Qualisys 3D Motion Capture System with integrated EMG and force platforms.
