The Department of Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering (MBE) at Boise State University invites applications for multiple open-rank tenure/tenure-track faculty positions (assistant or associate professors). Applicants should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and to making significant contributions in research. Senior applicants should have established track records of research, teaching and external funding. Junior applicants should articulate research programs that have promise for external funding. The MBE Department is the 2nd largest STEM Department on campus and the largest Department in the vibrant College of Engineering, which was ranked 6th in the US News & World Report’s 2015 list of best undergraduate engineering programs at public universities (West region). REQUIREMENTS: Earned PhDs in Mechanical Engineering or closely related fields are required at the time of appointment.
