We especially encourage applicants with an expertise in biomanufacturing, precision medicine, neural prosthetics/engineering, wearable/smart sensors, or other areas that synergize with our existing research areas (cellular/tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, biomechanics, biomaterials, bioinstrumentation, and imaging). We are looking for individuals who value creativity, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration. The BME department expects faculty to be involved in a balance of research, teaching, and service, including formal teaching, as well as mentoring student projects at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral level.
