Two positions focused on biomechanical data analysis and computational modeling for military injury prediction and prevention studies are currently available in the Center for Injury Biomechanics, in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Senior Research Associate/Engineer(PhD preferred): We are searching for an outstanding individual to serve as a technical lead to manage team members (graduate students, staff) and project tasks for an interdisciplinary research project involving: 1) analysis of large volumes of biomechanical data collected from accelerometers, load cells, and other instrumentation collected from human surrogate testing, and 2) Computer Aided Design and Finite Element Model development.
Research Engineer (MS preferred): We are searching for an outstanding individual to: 1) apply robust analytical techniques to analyze large volumes of biomechanical data collected from accelerometers, load cells, and other instrumentation collected from human surrogate testing, and 2) assist in the development of Computer Aided Design and Finite Element Models.
