    The Biomechanics and Motor Learning Laboratory at the University of West Florida is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research position. The postdoc will contribute to research in human movement science including, but not limited to, movement impairments related to disease, cortical and peripheral neural interaction, and performance adaptations within general, athletic, and military populations; as well as interprofessional collaborative research across varying disciplines with shared interests.

    The UWF Biomechanics and Motor Learning Laboratory is equipped with a 16-camera Vicon motion capture system, an in-floor Kistler force plate, a 16-channel Delsys Trigno EMG system, and a 128-channel NeuroScan SynAmp EEG system.

    Candidates should have a PhD degree in exercise science, engineering, neuroscience, or a related field. Strong technical skills including experience with motion analysis, electromyography and electroencephalography instrumentation and/or programming skills is highly desirable. This is a two-year post-doctoral appointment.
