The Musculoskeletal Biomechanics and Mechanobiology Laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Delaware (Newark, DE, USA) is seeking motivated students to join our group! We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:
Opportunities are available starting as early as January, 2016, for those interested in pursuing graduate (Ph.D. level) and undergraduate research. Our research is in the area of Orthopaedic Biomechanics, with a specific focus on tendon injury and healing, fibrocartilage development and maturation, and tendon/bone adaptation to mechanical loading.

- In vitro cell and tissue culture (2D, 3D, tissue engineering bioreactor)
- Small animal models of tendon/bone development, injury, and healing
- Genetics and mouse husbandry
- Cell and molecular biology
- Histology and pathology
- 3-D x-ray imaging, including micro-computed tomography
- Computational modeling (e.g., finite element, statistical shape modeling)
