Senior Hardware Engineer
Delsys Inc., is a small, fast-paced innovator in the biomedical field of electromyography and physiological monitoring. With a strong R&D arm, we design, sell and support body-worn sensors and technologies for varieties of applications. Primary Responsibilities
- Lead research and development efforts for body-worn sensors and hardware.
- Perform senior-level design activities for developing commercial products, including architecture definition, component selection, electrical design and validation activities.
- Organize and perform pilot studies for developing body sensor concepts for research proposals.
- Lead data gathering experiments to evaluate and improve technology.
- Design and build custom hardware for internal research studies.
- Work with other senior staff to define effective product maps and product evolution strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years work experience.
- Experience in designing low noise, mixed-signal circuits.
- Experience working with sensor design and wearable technology.
- Experience working with physiological signals (ECG, EMG, EEG and similar).
- Experience in design and documentation activities for commercial products.
- Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support.
- Project management experience
- Have strong organizational skills for managing data collection activities.
- Be familiar with medical device development activities (ISO13485 or equivalent).
