    Senior Hardware Engineer

    Delsys Inc., is a small, fast-paced innovator in the biomedical field of electromyography and physiological monitoring. With a strong R&D arm, we design, sell and support body-worn sensors and technologies for varieties of applications. Our products are used by Researchers and Clinicians all over the world, proving useful in areas such as sports science, ergonomics, rehabilitation and physical therapy. We are seeking an individual to lead our hardware development efforts which span research and prototype projects as well as unique manufacturing challenges related to producing our complex technology in low –volume.     Primary Responsibilities
    • Lead research and development efforts for body-worn sensors and hardware.
    • Perform senior-level design activities for developing commercial products, including architecture definition, component selection, electrical design and validation activities.
    • Organize and perform pilot studies for developing body sensor concepts for research proposals.
    • Lead data gathering experiments to evaluate and improve technology.
    • Design and build custom hardware for internal research studies.
    • Work with other senior staff to define effective product maps and product evolution strategies.


    Qualifications & Requirements
    • Minimum of 10 years work experience.
    • Experience in designing low noise, mixed-signal circuits.
    • Experience working with sensor design and wearable technology.
    • Experience working with physiological signals (ECG, EMG, EEG and similar).
    • Experience in design and documentation activities for commercial products.
    • Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support.
    • Project management experience
    • Have strong organizational skills for managing data collection activities.
    • Be familiar with medical device development activities (ISO13485 or equivalent).
