We are seeking a postdoc to lead a recently funded Department of Defense 3 year award aimed at developing automated assessments of balance as a proxy for concussion with establishment of return to duty protocols after mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI). The project will require a mixture of skills including project management for subject recruitment and testing, data collection, data management of clinical examination and objective testing data, statistical analysis and dissemination of project findings. In addition to technical development, the candidate will be expected to work closely with a number of project partners including both military and civilian populations, as well as Engineering faculty and students. The candidate will be expected to manage graduate and undergraduate students, and to maintain an active publication and conference travel portfolio. Individuals with experience in physical therapy as well as other biomedical sciences, health sciences, and/or kinesiology are welcome. The position is available immediately.
