We emphasis a close and very tight interaction with our clinical departments in orthopedics, trauma and reconstructive surgery but are also in tight research interactions beyond with other clinical departments at the Charité, Max Planck Instituts and University institutions in basic sciences. This allows our research in the biomechanics lab to be highly relevant for translational research and for having a direct impact on patient care.
