Degree Offered:
Ph.D. in Bioenergetics and Exercise Science

Responsibilities:
Research assistants are expected to contribute 20 hour per week towards laboratory research.


Current Research:
Current laboratory research is focused on using neuroimaging (electroencephalography; EEG) and motion capture techniques to study sensorimotor integration and motor control. Specifically, laboratory research interests include examining the effects of age-related changes on cognitive motor control, the effects of sensory function and hand dominance in motor control, and brain strategies for moving in 2-D and 3-D virtual environments.

Stipend:
Full Assistantship stipend is $25,000 for twelve months.

Qualifications:
M.S. in a relevant discipline is preferred, though B.S. applicants will also be considered. As the proposed work is multidisciplinary in nature, students from a variety of backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
