The Australian Institute of Sport (Australia’s high performance sport agency) is seeking a talented and experienced PhD qualified individual to take up the role of Gait & 3D Motion Analysis Biomechanist, based in the AIS Movement Science team in Canberra.
Reporting to the National Lead – Biomechanics, you will be responsible for world leading gait service provision to elite Australian athletes and a variety of 3D projects for a range of sports, primarily through the use of Vicon motion analysis, high speed cameras and Kistler force plate systems. Gait Biomechanists with expertise using OpenSim and an interest in sport, are encouraged to apply.
