Postdoctoral Position, University of Michigan

Description:
A post doctoral position is available for in the CHaR (Cartilage Healing and
Regeneration) lab at the University of Michigan. The lab’s focus is the design of
microenvironments in synthetic hydrogels for the purposes of engineering cartilage tissues and
mechanistic studies in cartilage organogenesis. The applicant will develop an injectable
osteochondral scaffold while studying the effects of microenvironmental parameters on cell
behavior. The applicant will use Rnaseq and proteomics analysis to engineer unique
biosynthetic systems to regulate stem cell fate decisions.

Experience:








The applicant should have expertise with tissue engineering methods, cell culture,
molecular biology, and animal models.
