The following position is to be filled at the German Sport University in Cologne at the Institute for Training and Computer Science in Sport as soon as possible:
W2-Professorship for Exercise Intervention research
Applicants should be proven scientists, internationally established with particular expertise in the planning, conceptualization and evaluation of training related intervention studies in the area of health- and recreational related contexts. Applicants must provide evidence of experience in securing competitive third-party funding and distinguished teaching skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to have experience in evaluation research and innovative methods of data collection and statistical processing as well as the skills to organize and give lectures in German and English language. An ability to function on an interdisciplinary level is also expected.
Conditions of employment, in accordance with ยง 36 Universities Act NRW, are:
The position has an obligatory teaching load of 9 SWS (F1). Participation in the Bachelor and Master courses as well as the teacher study courses is expected. Non German-speaking applicants are expected to be capable of teaching in German language within six semesters
