The University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Kinesiology and Health Education (KHE) invites applications for a Lecturer position within the Exercise Science program. The position is a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track position, renewable annually and beginning in August 2016.
The successful candidate will serve as a course instructor teaching courses in Movement Science area of the Exercise Science program. Courses taught may include: Anatomy, Biomechanics, Motor Development, Motor Learning, Neuromuscular Control, or similar courses based on the expertise of the chosen applicant.
The KHE department, with over 1,000 undergraduate students is the largest of the five departments housed in the College of Education and offers bachelor of science degrees in Athletic Training and Kinesiology & Health with majors in Applied Movement Science, Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Physical Culture and Sports, and Sport Management. The KHE Department was recently ranked second nationally by the National Academy of Kinesiology. The College is ranked among the top education colleges in the country annually and has been ranked as high as #1 for public universities.
