Description
The Human Performance and Engineering Lab at Kessler Foundation is seeking a Research Assistant (NON Engineering position) to help conduct research activities for a 5 year NIH funded research study aimed at investigating the neurophysiological effect of mental and physical training on mitigating muscle weakness in breast cancer survivors.
Responsibilities includes (1) delivering the mental/physical training to cancer patients (2) providing support for the recruitment, data collection, data entry and processing and study coordination.

Qualifications
- Candidates with a background in Psychology, Exercise Science and/or Physical Therapy or similar disciplines,
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Experience with personal training, rehabilitation therapy or recreation activity organization is preferred
- Effective administrative and good computer skills
- Motivated and interested in rehabilitation research aimed at improving physical, psychological and/or social functions in people with disabilities.
- Additional knowledge and experience with medical instrumentation, neuro-imaging, biomedical signal processing and analysis is a plus, but not essential.
- Must be reliable, have a driver license and daily access to a vehicle. Responsibilities will require frequent driving to deliver training and participant assessment. Reimbursement for mileage will be provided.
