    Job description:

    Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in Biomechanics post in the Allied Health Research unit at UCLan. This post will provide support to the Innovation Clinic project.

    The post holder will have the opportunity to work with Professor Jim Richards and his research team to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through discussions about design and innovation and advanced biomechanical testing in UCLan's state of the art Biomechanics laboratory, to provide evidence on the efficacy of devices that interact with the body.

    The successful applicant will contribute to the running and management of the project therefore experience of conducting a research project is essential. Excellent organisational and administration skills are required as well as an adaptable and flexible approach to meeting targets. An excellent communicator, the successful applicant will have the ability to work with people at all levels of seniority.

    Applicants will possess a first degree with a strong biomechanics element.
