We are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated professional to make a significant contribution to our research and teaching programs in exercise physiology at lecturer or senior lecturer level.

We are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated professional to make a significant contribution to our research and teaching programs in exercise physiology at lecturer or senior lecturer level.
In this role you will:
- pursue a research program in the area of exercise physiology including grant acquisition, presentations and peer-reviewed publications
- recruit and supervise postgraduate research students and contribute to the faculty’s academic program
- teach into undergraduate and postgraduate courses in exercise science and exercise physiology, take on responsibility for unit of study coordination and contribute to curriculum development
- contribute to administrative aspects of teaching and research.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- a PhD in exercise physiology and a broad understanding of exercise responses
- expertise in l exercise physiology and its application to health, disease, and human performance (desirable)
- a record of journal publications for appointment at Level B; an established publication record in high impact journals and demonstrated capacity for research grant acquisition for appointment at Level C
- experience in research-led teaching of exercise science/physiology at the tertiary level
- good communication skills; and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- previous experience in curriculum development and unity of study or course coordination (desirable at Level B; essential at Level C)
- experience with research student supervision (desirable at Level B; essential at Level C)
- ESSA accreditation in exercise physiology (or equivalent for international candidates) is highly desirable.
- experience in the practice of exercise physiology in clinical settings (desirable).
