    The following PhD studentships at the School of Science and Sport, University of the West of Scotland are available to suitable candidates.
    Funding will be made available to UK/ EU candidates.

    The list of projects are in the area of Sports Biomechanics and Clinical Biomechanics. The project titles are:

    1)A full body biomechanical and physiological assessment of badminton shots
    2)A biomechanical study of the percutaneous balloon carpal tunnel plasty procedure
    3)Development and validation of instrumented kit to improve performance and safety in combat sport
    4)Functional evaluation of the spine and lower limbs during the performance of activities of daily living
    5)An investigation of golf training aids designed to improve putting and golf swing performance
    6)An investigation of golf training regimes designed for improving golf putting and golf swing performance
    7)A morphological study of the wrist and carpal tunnel contents

    The deadline is 15th of May 2016.
