    Postdoctoral research scientist in the Motor Control Research Laboratory at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (http://publish.illinois.edu/motorcontrol/). Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position to work on research projects focusing on mobility and fall risk. The position involves working on multiple projects within an active lab. The ideal candidate should possess a PhD in kinesiology, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, computer science or related area with graduate research experience in human movement analysis. The candidate should be able to work as a part of an interdisciplinary research team, have strong communication skills and excellent technical skills. Experience working with wearable sensors is desirable. However, I place a higher priority on potential for excellent innovative research and motivation to excel. Primary responsibilities will include project management including data collection and analysis and dissemination of findings. Ongoing funded projects within the research lab focus on fall prevention in special populations including multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injury as well as the development of novel health technology.
