  • PhD position in rehabilitation robotics - Washington DC

    A fully funded position is available for PhD graduate students interested in research on robotic exoskeletons for rehabilitation of hand and arm function after stroke. Students will work on a NIH-funded project within the Center for Applied Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Research (CABRR, http://cabrr.cua.edu/). CABRR is a joint center between the Biomedical Engineering Department at Catholic University and MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. Students will join a vibrant and diverse team of clinicians, engineers and research scientists, all focused on rehabilitation of movement disorders following neurologic injury. Qualified candidates will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of engineering and should have experience in mechanical design and Matlab.
