Post-Doctoral Fellow

We are seeking an epidemiologist/biostatistician Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the Bone Imaging Laboratory, University of Calgary ( The successful candidate will work with Drs. Steven Boyd and David Hanley on projects related to bone quality assessment by high resolution micro-computed tomography. The candidate’s primary project encompasses an ongoing clinical trial on vitamin D and bone quality. They will have the opportunity to work on this three-year RCT and other major ongoing projects, and be involved in preparing documentation for reports, presentations, conferences and manuscripts.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess Ph.D. level training in epidemiology, biostatistics or related field with experience in clinical research and a keen interest in musculoskeletal health.

The City of Calgary is nestled in the foothills of the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains and is approximately an hour away from world class skiing and hiking, outstanding camping, golf and the beautiful scenery of Kananaskis Country and Banff National Park.
