    The School of Physical Therapy is seeking a post doctoral research fellow to undertake a comprehensive systematic review of peer-reviewed scientific literature specific to evaluating functional impairment of the spine. It is expected that the post-doctoral fellow will manage the research process, and work collaboratively with the research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, analyzing data and drafting reports, over the 18 month term. Tasks will include: 1) lead consultation with stakeholders; 2) develop tools for title, abstract and full-text screening of articles, and for data extraction and analysis; 3) prepare draft protocol publications; 4) prepare final reports to the funding agency, presentations and scientific publications; and 5) develop other knowledge translation tools as appropriate.
    The ideal candidate will demonstrate: prior experience in conducting systematic reviews as evidenced by the completion of a recognized course and/or publications of systematic reviews in high quality peer reviewed journals; experience in using reference management software (eg Endnote, DistillerSR); experience in research project management; previous experience in applying for external grants; and a track record of working with team members and stakeholders in research project development and management.
