Life University, in the metro Atlanta area, has a job opening: director of the Office of Sponsored Research and Scholarly Activity (OSRSA). The required qualifications are:
· Master's degree
· Understanding of research support functions, including the IRB process.
· Experience in pre- and post-award activity
· Familiarity with issues of research compliance
· Knowledge of federal agency practices, regulations and policies for grants management and sponsored research

Life University is best known for its chiropractic college but also has a substantial number of students in Sports Health Science and Nutrition & Dietetics, as well as other degree programs. Much of the sports & chiropractic research is biomechanically based.
