    In support of our significant investment in Sport and Exercise Science we are seeking to appoint inspiring and ambitious individuals to be involved in teaching and research. This posts offer an exciting opportunity to be part of the developments in Sport and Exercise Science at Newcastle University and to contribute to the growth of the academic discipline of Sport and Exercise Science within our Faculty of Medical Sciences. You will be primarily on the new BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences. There will also be scope to contribute to the development and support of other programmes. You will be expected to make a significant contribution to research and enterprise and to demonstrate a developing independent research profile.

    You will have a PhD and a strong teaching and research background in the discipline area.


    You will have the ability to engage in high quality research that commands international recognition as well as effective time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.


    Appointments will be in the School of Biomedical Sciences with affiliation to one of our research institutes as appropriate.
