We are located in Phoenix, AZ. We were founded in 2008 by the CORE Institute, a world class orthopedic care practice located in AZ, LA, and MI with the sole mission of advancing research in the orthopedics arena and being the leaders.
The biomechanics research lab @ MORE FDN is seeking a talented engineer for the position of "Orthopedic Research Associate". Requirements for the position are as follows:
- Substantial experience in LabView (preferably CLAD or CLA),
- Preferably an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree (Masters degree+ preferred)
- Background in Controls theory.
- Experience with integrating hardware (actuators, servo motors, analog/digital inputs etc.) and control software programming
- Experience with robotic systems
- Understanding of human skeletal system and anatomical joint systems
- Matlab/Simulink experience
- Must be able to clearly communicate concepts and prepare reports, project planning
- Creates robust documentation of LabView programs
- Willing to work in a laboratory environment
- Worked on motion applications involving visual feedback - 3D coordinate data (Motion Analysis applications)
This position will report to the Sr. Research Engineer/Manager of Biomechanical Research operations.
