About the Position: The department of Exercise Science and Physical Education is seeking an adjunct professor or lecturer to teach basic biomechanics and applied anatomy. PEMJ 321 kinesiology is a required course for all students in the department. This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the biomechanical principles governing efficient movement of the musculoskeletal system to analyze the performance of motor skills. Sections are limited to 30 students, and meet for 2 x 75 minute classes per week.
Required Qualifications: A Masters degree or higher in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, or similar, with expertise in biomechanics.
About the Department: The department of Exercise Science and Physical Education educates students, who, on graduating, meet the needs of the educational and corporate organizations in New York and New Jersey. We have over 600 exercise science, athletic training, and physical education undergraduate and graduate students. Our research laboratories and cooperative education experiences provide service to the New York metropolitan area.
