    Product Specialist / Application Engineer - Human Motion Measurement Market


    Job Summary:
    Xsens is looking to hire a Product Specialist / Application Engineer for its products for the Human Motion Measurement market, based in Culver City, CA. Xsens is fully owned by Fairchild Semiconductor, an industry icon delivering power solutions for the mobile, industrial, cloud, automotive, lighting, and computing industries. You will provide pre- and post-sales support to our customer base and distributor network in the regions of North and Latin America. In your daily job you work closely together with our sales professionals and you will be part of our global sales and support team. Typically you will support customers having applications in biomechanics research, sports science, rehabilitation and ergonomics.

    Performance Objective:
    • Provide technical support and training to Xsens customers to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
    • Provide technical support and training to Xsens distributors and resellers
    • Present and demonstrate Xsens products to potential customers (on-site, at conferences and through the internet)
    • Build out our existing database of customer cases and (research) articles demonstrating how Xsens products are being used by our customers
    • Participate in development of sales and support tools
    • Report to Business Manager in The Netherlands


    Requirements:
    • BSc (Biomechanical) in Engineering, preferably biomechanical engineering, movement science or similar (graduate degree preferred)
    • Experience in human motion analysis
    • Result oriented, highly motivated and enthusiastic team player and able to work independently
    • Excellent technical and communication skills
    • Analytical skills
    • Preferably able to understand Matlab and C++
    • Be a quick learner who can transition seamlessly between tasks
    • Preferably experience in a pre/post sale support role, passionate about customers and helping reach their goals.
    • Able to travel frequently (up to 30% of your time)
