Staffordshire University is investing in a major research initiative offering up to 30 fully and partially funded, full-time PhD studentships for interdisciplinary research across the University. We’re looking for outstanding people to join our new research drive for world-leading research focused on wellbeing.
Within the clinical biomechanics team PhD studentships are offered for research in four key thematic areas:
1. Patient specific computer modelling to enhance clinical practice
2. Novel applications of ultrasound imaging in biomechanics
3. Advanced manufacturing processes (e.g. 3D printing) in rehabilitation engineering
4. 3D analysis of pathological human motion
