We are currently recruiting for a full time Kinesiologist, exercise physiologist or related field, Motion Analysis Center.
Position Summary:

The lab kinesiology has three main areas of responsibility-
1) Assist with clinical evaluations- the kinesiologist is responsible for assisting in data collection during patient evaluations. 2) processing data and report generation – Once data is collected, the kinesiologist is responsible for processing data collected using Nexus, Microsoft Access and Polygon and creating the final clinical report 3) Scheduling and general lab activities. There are also to help develop a return to sports program, and injury prevention program for female athletes.
Position Responsibilities


Assist with clinical Evaluations and data collection

1. Calibrate laboratory equipment as needed prior to patient evaluations and research projects
2. Able to perform accurate marker placement, anthropometric measurements and electrode placement and other parts of the exam as needed.
3. Assist with Pedobarograph data collection
4. Interacts professionally with patients and family, while coordinating all aspects of data collection in order to efficiently and accurately complete the test in a minimum of time and discomfort for the patient
5. Assist with the development of clinical and research protocols

Processing data and report generation

1. Transfer processed data from Nexus to Polygon to produce initial clinical report
2. Responsible processing for collating only parts of the data collected into a single Microsoft word documents for medical records
3. Program with MatLab, VBA or LabView is a plus but not required

Scheduling and general lab activities

1. Assists with maintaining a clean lab, including setting up of equipment and cleaning of equipment after seeing a patient.
2. Maintain Laboratory documentation in an organized fashion
3. Assist with coordination of the referral, scheduling, creating green screen photos, generating thank you letters, preparing outpatients lists and confirmation of patient and research subject appointments.

1. Ensure that patient and research data are backed-up immediately upon completion of data collection; establish and maintain a periodic back-up schedule for all laboratory computer systems.
