The University of Kentucky Division of Physical Therapy is seeking a doctorally prepared faculty member with strong research interests in neuromuscular and/or motor control domains. Faculty members in this well-established program provide a DPT level professional curriculum and are team members in the Rehabilitation Sciences PhD program within the UK College of Health Sciences. The UKPT Program is housed in an outstanding facility, with exceptionally equipped clinical and bench research labs, training labs and classrooms. This tenure track position on the Lexington campus requires an individual with a defined or developing research agenda and demonstrated capabilities. Significant collaborative opportunities in interprofessional and translational research across the life span exist within the UK Medical Center and surrounding communities. A flexible balance of instruction and research with start-up support and appropriate mentorship are provided to facilitate individual faculty focus and maximize productivity and success. Located in the heart of the beautiful Bluegrass Region, Lexington Kentucky is known for its rich history, family friendly environment, and gently rolling hills.
