    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a Tenure Track Faculty Member and Program Director of the Athletic Training Program in the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) beginning in the Fall of 2016.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    The University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for a tenure-track athletic training faculty member in the College of Education’s School of Health and Kinesiology. This individual will serve as the program director of the CAATE accredited undergraduate and graduate athletic training programs. The duties and responsibilities are: teach courses in the Athletic Training Program and serve as program director of the CAATE accredited programs; conduct research and participate in scholarly activity; provide service to the department, college, university, metropolitan community and profession. This list is meant to be representative, not exhaustive.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Doctoral Degree in Athletic Training or related field; Athletic Trainer certification by the Board of Certification; hold or eligible for Nebraska State Licensure
    Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
    Prior experience as a program director of a CAATE-accredited athletic training education program; Demonstrable evidence of research and scholarship; Experience with mentoring graduate students; Ability to provide service at the department, college, university and professional levels.
