    Assistant/Associate (tenure track), Division of Physical Therapy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

    Start Date: Fall 2017

    Responsibilities:
    The Division of Physical Therapy, Department of Allied Health Sciences, UNC School of Medicine, invites applications for an open rank tenure track position. The field of specialization for this position is open. Primary responsibilities are research and scholarship, with teaching in the DPT program as a secondary responsibility. Academic advising and mentoring of PhD students in Human Movement Science is also required.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    1) An academic doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DSc) in Physical Therapy, Movement Science, Health Services Research, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; 2) potential for excellence in research; and 3) willingness to contribute to the Division’s mission as a part of our enthusiastic, supportive, and dedicated faculty.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    1) Eligible for North Carolina licensure as a physical therapist; 2) post-doctoral research training or history of extramural grant funding as principal investigator; and 3) demonstrated ability to teach in a graduate-level program.
