    Shriners Hospitals for Children-Philadelphia® is seeking a Director, Clinical and Outcomes Research. The qualified candidate will be a PhD level researcher with a background in medicine (MD), occupational or physical therapy, kinesiology, biomechanics, nursing or related field, with an established track record of peer-reviewed publication and extramural research funding. The successful candidate will have experience in clinical research in one or more of the following: Orthopedics, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, or other areas relevant to pediatric neurorehabilitation. He/She will provide leadership and vision for the clinical research department. He/she should be able to lead a clinical research program that can interface with a strong laboratory research team in order to translate basic research achievements into clinical advances. The effective director of clinical research will partner with medical staff, helping to take maximum advantage of their clinical experience in order to advance the research agenda. The ability to mentor research staff, post-docs and students is essential.
