    Hours – Up to 55 contracted hours
    Rate – £27.46 - £37.12 per hour (dependent upon qualification)
    Start date – 16/01/2017 (for about 12 weeks)

    The Department of Life Sciences at Brunel University London is looking for hourly-paid support to cover teaching and learning activities on the BSc Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences degree. Specific aspects include delivery of Level 1 undergraduate biomechanics lectures and administration associated with the module (e.g. on-line quizzes using BlackBoard Learn). The module is entitled “Fundamentals of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences” and some of the main themes to be covered include linear and angular kinematics, linear and angular kinetics, work and energy, kinetic chain, and friction. Substantial preparation of teaching material is not required as material from previous years is available. Classes are timetabled for Mondays.

    The successful candidate should have teaching experience in biomechanics and should have a PhD (or be close to completing a PhD).
