Description
The Neuromuscular physiology laboratory at Institute of Myology located in Paris seeks well-qualified MSc students for research internships (4-6 months).
From collection of muscular tissues to clinical research, ranging from basic research in genetics and pathophysiology, teams from the Institute of Myology conduct a multidisciplinary translational research of excellence on muscle and neuromuscular diseases.
There are currently two research opportunities:
-Development of standardized procedures for the the characterization of the peripheral nerve using high-resolution ultrasound and ultra fast shear wave elastography.
-Biomarkers for muscle damage using high-resolution ultrasound and ultra fast shear wave and elastography.
The selected applicant shall start working on February 1st 2017.
Profile
Knowledge in human physiology, bioengineering ; working knowledge in Matlab, R, image analysis is preferable; interest for applied human research.
