DIRECTOR, SCHOOL OF KINESIOLOGY
Applications or nominations are invited for the position of Director, School of Kinesiology (http://www.uwo.ca/fhs/kin/index.html) in the Faculty of Health Sciences (http://www.uwo.ca/fhs/).
The School of Kinesiology is a leader in the bio-scientific and sociocultural study of human movement which aligns with the Faculty of Health Sciences Strategic Research Plan (http://www.uwo.ca/fhs/research/files..._plan_2016.pdf). Kinesiology is seeking a visionary director, able to inspire research, innovation, and collaboration; and foster a collegial, collaborative, and high performing culture. The new Director will have a track record of facilitating research performance and a personal record of quality research achievement. A passion for learning and teaching, the capacity to manage change, resources and people, and an excellent ability to work constructively with professional bodies and industry are also essential. The selected candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, or a related discipline and will possess the qualifications to be appointed to a tenured academic position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The effective date of the appointment is July 1, 2017 or as negotiated. The term of the Director appointment is five years, renewable.
