Job Description:
The primary responsibility will be to assist with processing of motion analysis data files. The research assistant may also be asked to help recruit human subjects, prepare and distribute advertisement materials to various outpatient clinics and senior citizen centers, prepare materials and equipment for data collection, assist in data analysis, assist in Institutional Review Board applications, and assist in preparation and submission of grants and publications.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications: Competency with computer software (MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe, Photoshop etc.), excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and management skills, ability to learn new techniques.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Engineering or related field. Experience with Matlab programming. Research experience in a gait/biomechanics lab. Experience in human motion analysis, biomechanics, subject recruitment, Institutional Review Board applications.
