    M.S. or Ph.D. in Biomechanical/Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics/Kinesiology, or a closely related science.

    Preferred background and experience in automotive safety, occupant injury biomechanics, crash injury databases (e.g. NASS-CDS), and/or computational biomechanics (modeling/simulation).

    The position primarily involves injury biomechanics analysis in automobile accidents and requires the ability to work individually and as part of a team. Strong written, verbal, and problem-solving skills are required. Candidates should have the desire to continue to learn and demonstrate the ability to acquire, integrate, and apply knowledge.
