PhD Scholarship investigating detection of elbow replacement loosening and infection at Aston University, Birmingham, UK.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven PhD candidate to join our growing biomedical research group Aston University (UK). The project will focus on the problem of detecting high loosening and infection rates in total elbow replacements. The student will be working in a multidisciplinary team across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and working with orthopaedic surgeons.
The PhD studentship opportunity is open for all candidates. The scholarship covers tuition fees and stipend for UK/EU students. International students are welcome to apply, however, additional fees for international students will need to be covered.
