The University of Jamestown Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT) is accepting applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Physical Therapy. The University of Jamestown DPT Program is located in Fargo, North Dakota.

The successful candidate will join a growing, dynamic faculty committed to excellence and innovation in education, service and research. The candidate will participate in the program’s ongoing development and assessment.
The successful candidate will be required to engage in service, research, and teaching activities consistent with the Program’s expectations and productivity guidelines. Service duties include participation in appropriate professional organizations, clinically related service, or volunteer work in the community. Research duties are expected to meet CAPTE requirements, and demonstrate evidenced-based research related to physical therapy, in the candidate’s area of interest.
Minimum qualifications include:
· An academic doctorate (i.e., PhD, EdD, ScD). Applicants near doctoral degree completion will be considered.
· Active membership in the APTA
· Experience as a successful academic or clinical educator
· Current physical therapy license, and be eligible for licensure in North Dakota
Teaching responsibilities: teaching in the entry-level DPT program and student advisement.
Research responsibilities: engage in scholarly research consistent with areas of expertise and interest
Additional responsibilities:
· Engage in research
· Mentor DPT students
· Service to the department, university, and profession
