    We are recruiting one senior research assistant to work on NIH and Department of Defense (DoD) funded projects. The senior research assistant will work in the Balance Disorders Laboratory (Neurology Department at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR) under Dr. Laurie King (Principal Investigator).

    The Senior Research Assistant will work across two or three federally funded projects related to balance control in individuals with mild traumatic brain injury as an integral component of the research team. The Senior Research Assistant will be responsible for data management, obtaining and maintaining IRB approvals, preparing quarterly reports on research progress for funding agencies, coordinating and supervising current research assistants, assisting with data collection, and facilitating promotional visits and materials based on the funded research.

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree with major courses in health-related (health-related field such as Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a similar field) AND 1-3 years of relevant experience
    Basic Microsoft Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's degree in health-related field such as Kinesiology, Public Health, Exercise Science, or a similar field
    2 years of experience
    Project management skills
    Human subjects research experience
