General Information:
The School of Kinesiology (www.kines.umich.edu) is one of 19 independent academic units and one of seven health science schools and colleges within the University of Michigan. The School is led by a Dean, and has 28 tenure-line faculty and approximately 1,000 students. The School of Kinesiology includes research disciplines in biomechanics, motor control, exercise physiology, athletic training, sport management, and health and fitness. The Doctoral Program was ranked #3 in the country by the National Academy of Kinesiology in 2015. Outstanding collaborative opportunities exist both within the School of Kinesiology and with other units across campus. The position is supported by competitive compensation, attractive laboratory space, and access to state-of-the-art core facilities.
