Two PhD positions are available starting Fall 2018 in the Sensorimotor Neuroscience Lab at the University of Georgia. Our research will focus on investigating age-induced changes in visuomotor control using robotics, eye-tracking and virtual-reality.
The main experimental tool in our laboratory is a KINARM end point robot (BKIN Technologies, Kingston, ON, Canada) integrated with eye-tracking (SR Eyelink, Mississauga, ON, Canada) and wireless EMG (Delsys, Boston, MA). Other resources in the lab include a 6-camera motion analysis system (Vicon, UK) and force plates (Bertec, Columbus, OH).

Applicants should have:
- Either an MS or a BS in one of the following fields: biomedical engineering, neuroscience, biomechanics, motor control or psychology.
- Prior research experience with MATLAB/Simulink programming or a score greater than 80th percentile in the quantitative section of the GRE.
- Demonstrated evidence of strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated evidence of interest or experience in human behavior research.
