What we are after
We are currently recruiting for a domestic (Australia / New Zealand) PhD Student to work in Rugby League embedded within the club’s High Performance Unit. Candidates with current experience using GPS in a sporting context will be strongly regarded as will any prior experience with physical performance testing. The candidate must be a proactive person and a critical thinker able to provide solutions and unique points of view to existing problems. The ideal applicant will have a mix of sport science and/or analytical experience i.e., knowledge of Matlab, Python, R, and/or another suitable software language/s.
What is being offered
The successful candidate will be provided an industry scholarship worth $27,082 / year, indexed annually. You will be required to apply for a scholarship through Macquarie University, and if successful the industry scholarship will revert to a $10,000 / year top-up scholarship in addition to the Macquarie scholarship, total value $37,082 / year.
