  • PhD Positions in Biomedical Engineering/Biomechanics at WPI

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute invites PhD applicants!
Our faculty have expertise in biomechanics including musculoskeletal biomechanics and medical imaging, computational modeling, traumatic brain injury, and robot assisted surgery.

In particular, the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory (PI: Karen Troy) is looking for a motivated PhD student to join our group. All PhD students are fully funded as long as they make satisfactory progress towards their degrees.

Interested students can contact me directly, but also need to apply through our graduate portal.

Re: PhD Positions in Biomedical Engineering/Biomechanics at WPI

    Dear Biomech-L subscribers,
I am looking for PhD and MS students to join my lab (the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory) next academic year. We will begin reviewing PhD applicants next week, but there is still time to apply! If you know of any students who are interested in working in orthopaedics, biomechanics, computational modeling and medical imaging, please encourage them to apply to our program. All PhD students are fully funded as long as they make satisfactory progress towards their degrees.

    Thank you,
    Karen L. Troy, PhD
