An exciting opportunity has arisen, within the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, to join a dynamic and growing team providing high quality technical support and clinical supervision in the School of Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, at our Luton Campus.
The post is a part time (0.4FTE) permanent appointment, in which you would be expected to contribute to the technical work of the School, while maintaining your professional development within the University and/or maintaining external professional networks and relationships.

- An understanding of sports physiology and biomechanical laboratory methods
- Experience of clinical practice and mentoring others in clinical practice in a sports therapy environment
- An appreciation of Health and Safety issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a highly organised and flexible approach to work
- The skills of a team player who can demonstrate ability to work independently and resolve problems effectively
- Excellent personal organisation and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and forward plan
- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people
- Proficient in IT skills especially MS Office
- A high quality customer-focused approach to the support of staff and students
- Adaptability and flexibility in dealing with workload
